Afterschool Sewing/Crochet Classes
At Needle & Stitch, we offer afterschool classes all year round.
Your child can be part of one of many groups we have. We try to match your child to a group of similar age and school grade, and of course, skills level.
In our sewing classes, kids will learn all the basics while creating different projects as their skill grows. Students will learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind up a bobbin, sew in a straight line, prepare fabric, pin fabric seams, add snaps, and much more!!!
In our crochet classes, the kids will learn how to use a crochet hook and some yarn to create a variety of things, including hats, scarves and also toys.
Price
We charge $35 per class (it's an one hour class and it includes the sewing supplies and access to different sewing machines and tools) - classes are paid in the beginning of each month.
No make-up classes are available due to limited time availability. So please make sure your child attends each class.

Due to the essence of the work done in sewing classes, please note that there is risk associated with the use of pins, needles, scissors, irons, etc. We have a first aid kit and the class is closely supervised, but there will always be the risk that someone may poke themselves with a needle.
Needle & Stitch retains the right to cancel a class at its discretion due to inclement weather or other circumstances. In such circumstances the office will determine the best option for replacement class(es), which may be on another date.
